Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige is considered to be invincible at Disney since the record-breaking success of "Avengers 4: Endgame". Almost before the theatrical release of "Captain America: Civil War", however, the MCU creator would have thrown out of desperation.
Kevin Feige is the man with the master plan at Marvel. As CEO of Marvel Studios, the film department of the famous comic book company, and creator of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Feige is considered to be the main person responsible for the success of his company, and not just since "Avengers 4: Endgame". As Disney boss Bob Iger reveals in his memoir "The Ride Of A Lifetime", Feige was meanwhile but close to turn Marvel final. Triggers were violent disputes behind the scenes, which concerned above all the creative orientation of the MCU.
DISPUTED OF "CAPTAIN MARVEL" AND "BLACK PANTHER"
Marvel Entertainment CEO Isaac "Ike" Perlmutter, then cowardly direct supervisor, moved in a completely different direction than Cowardly and actively hindered his plans to film the comics "Black Panther" and "Captain Marvel". In the book, it is said that Feige often clashed in his planning with an unnamed Marvel employee, who was firmly convinced that especially "Black Panther" was too risky since films with black protagonists internationally have always been more difficult would sell. Before the release of "The First Avenger: Civil War", the third "Captain America" movie, Feige was so frustrated by the constant clashes with his boss and the entire New York-based Marvel Entertainment division that, according to Iger seriously considered dropping his job.

"I've been in the business long enough to have heard every old argument, and I know that old argument is just that: old and out of tune with the world, or where the world should go. We had the chance [with 'Black Panther'] to make a great movie and on top of that show, an underrepresented part of America and these goals are compatible. I called Ike [Perlmutter] and told him to tell his team not to put any stumbling blocks in the way and ordered them to put 'Black Panther' as well as 'Captain Marvel' into production. "
THE "ECCENTRIC" IKE PERLMUTTER
Perlmutter, a supporter, and confidant of US President Donald Trump has long been a controversial figure at Marvel. Although he gives no interviews, shields his private life from the media and hardly ever appears in public, he is known for a kind often called "eccentric". After the replacement of the MCU character War Machine in "Iron Man 2" (Don Cheadle replaced Terrence Howard), he allegedly said that nobody would notice the difference anyway since blacks all look the same (the Financial Times reported).
Perlmutter continues as CEO and Chairman of Marvel Entertainment. Thus, he is responsible for the video game and TV departments of the company. However, the Disney + series "WandaVision", "The Falcon And The Winter Soldier" and Co., announced at Comic-Con, will be released without his involvement in Marvel Studios.
The next MCU movie "Black Widow" will be released in Germany on April 30, 2020.
