Superstar Mahesh Babu is the hero of the movie Sarileru Neekevvaru. The movie, which was launched by Anil Ravipudi, was a memorable success for Mahesh. Mahesh hit a hat-trick with Bharat Ane Nenu.

Everyone has been predicting that the movie will be a blockbuster, but nobody expected it to ever be grossed out. The film grossed Rs 47 crore worldwide on the first day.
The second day is not going to decrease at all. According to movie analysts, the film grossed Rs 63 to 65 crore worldwide on the second day. On the third day, the film is said to cross one hundred crores. Mahesh made the most of his career opening day collections.

Earlier, Maharshi's first day was Rs. 24.68 crore. That record has now been broken by Sarileru Neekevvaru. However, Sarileru Neekevvaru came fourth in the first day's collections record. At the top is Baahubali 2 (Rs 43 crore).
