The coronavirus paralyzes large parts of Hollywood. After Disney, among others, Netflix has now decided to stop numerous filming immediately. The fourth season, “Stranger Things”, is affected.
Netflix will immediately stop filming all of the films and series that are made in North America. For all productions that are shot outside of the United States, a case-by-case decision should be made based on the risk situation in the respective country to decide whether the work will continue or will be discontinued for the time being.

Netflix joins the majority of large corporations. Disney and Universal (including “Jurassic World: Dominion”), among others, have already stopped all their productions without exception, well over 100 film and series shoots by the large US companies alone are now pausing.
