Universal Pictures has denied that Jurassic World: Dominion had to stop filming after rumors that some team members have tested positive for coronavirus.

"Any information indicating that Jurassic World: Dominion has stopped production is totally false. The production is on its way to its fifth day of shooting and we are excited to get back in front of the camera with this incredible project," the studio says in a statement sent to Comic Book.
Rumors about the filming of the third installment of the series starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard have begun with a medium-sized publication The Sun. According to this headline, production had to stop because some team members had tested positive for coronavirus. "This was the last thing anyone expected to happen so soon," a source tells The Sun. As Universal Studios' statement has indicated, it is false that production had to close again. However, they make no mention of whether or not part of the team has tested positive for COVI-19.

Jurassic World: Dominion, directed by Colin Trevorrow, had to stop filming months ago because of the coronavirus crisis. Now, as the study suggests, they have been able to resume work and are already on their fifth day.

In addition to Pratt and Howard, the third installment of the saga will feature some well-known faces from the original franchise. Jeff Goldblum will return as Dr. Ian Malcolm, Laura Dern in Ellie Sattler, and Sam Neill in Alan Grant. At the moment, little is known about the plot of this film, but the end of its predecessor, Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom, has already advanced that dinosaurs and humans should learn to live together. The film is scheduled for release in the United States on June 11, 2021.
