Joaquin Phoenix will receive an award for his work as an actor at the Toronto International Festival (TIFF). The interpreter of the next 'Joker' and protagonist of 'Her' or 'The Brothers Sisters' will accompany Meryl Streep, the other performer awarded by the festival.
