What is a fact is that Vince Gilligan's team has given us an unexpected surprise? And, although we knew there would be a movie in the series, there was no record that it was already being recorded.
In 2013 we said goodbye to the television series created by Vince Gilligan who, throughout his five seasons, broke the record with 10.3 million viewers. Luckily, a few months ago it was confirmed that a part of Walter White's legacy would continue, thanks to the fiction-based film that was born ten years ago. The success of the series, which began airing on AMC, was so overwhelming that it ended up winning the Emmy Award for Best Drama Series in 2014.
Anyone who has met Walter White knows that he is one of those characters that, once the series is over, you carry forever in your heart. And, from the first chapter, some empathy is created towards the character played by Bryan Cranston, a 52-year-old man who meets all the qualities of a good person and who, however, lung cancer leads him to do things you never thought you would do.
The film, also directed by Gilligan, will feature Jesse Pinkman, Walter's former student played by Aaron Paul. Cranston's participation in the production is a mystery since his character died in the last chapter of the series by a lost bullet. Although there are already many hypotheses that shuffle the chemistry teacher's turn in some cameo as a 'flashback'.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Odenkirk gave his opinion on the fact that no one found out that they were shooting the movie.
I don't know what people know and don't know. I find it hard to believe they didn't know we were recording it. But they did. You know what I mean? How can that be a secret? Well, it is.

Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein, with whom the director has already worked on the original series and in the 'spin-off', Better Call Saul, are in charge of the film's production. The new format will be released on the AMC television network and on Netflix.
